NEW FACE: Mantra's top job in Darwin will have a fresh face from September 20 - David Brill will take over as General Manager of Mantra Pandanas and Area Manager for Darwin. David's appointment to this key position reflects the esteem he is held within Mantra Group, after his positive contribution to the Sunshine Coast as Area Manager over the last year. During August and until David's commencement, Gyan Pillay will act as relief GM for Mantra Pandanas. Former Mantra Pandanas GM of two years, Andrew Charlton, has decided to pursue a new venture outside of Mantra Group. His contribution to both BreakFree Aanuka in Coffs Harbour, NSW, and Mantra Pandanas, and his efforts as Darwin's Area Manager, have been greatly appreciated over the years.

BOND, AARON BOND: Mantra Southbank Melbourne has a new sharp shooter, with Aaron Bond being promoted to the position of General Manager, commencing August 9. Aaron has made an impressive start to his career with the Mantra Group and has driven the Mantra on Little Bourke to a new level in his capacity as Operations Manager. Prior to joining the Mantra Group, he was the General Manager at the Jasper Hotel in Melbourne and has also held GM roles with the Constellation Group in WA. Former Mantra Southbank Melbourne general manager Jeff Hermes is moving to head the team at Mantra on Russell. Jeff has done a fantastic job at Mantra Southbank over the past year and his passion and drive will no doubt take the Mantra on Russell to a new level.

HOMEWARD BOUND: Kobie Eastwood will begin her new role as Hotel Manager of Mantra One Sandy Bay, Hobart, on August 16. Kobie has extensive experience in the industry and has worked across several Mantra  properties in Queensland; most recently as Assistant Manager at Mantra Sierra Grand on the Gold Coast. Originally from Tasmania, Kobie is keen to get back to her home state and has just relocated from Brisbane, where she was Hotel Manager at the Oaks Brisbane.
