There's a new dynamic duo taking conferencing to a whole new level in the scenic Southern Highlands of New South Wales.

The new conferencing team consists of two well known Southern Highlands events professionals, Jan Walters and Jennifer Stokeld, who are both eager to encourage clients to take advantage of the great value packages available at Peppers Manor House and Peppers Craigieburn.

General Managers Rien Donkin, for Peppers Craigieburn, and John Wall, for Peppers Manor House, are both thrilled to have the two professionals on board.

The local community and guests to the Southern Highlands can look forward to experiencing the launch of some exciting events at each property.

Both Jan and Jennifer will manage all conference and event sales and enquiries for the two historic retreats, which are already a popular location for conferences, business meetings and events such as weddings and other family celebrations.

The two women bring with them a wealth of ideas and experience.

A competent and respected journalist for many years, Jennifer moved into an award-winning advertising sales role, before becoming General Manager of News Limited's Manly Daily.

Three years later she took on the added responsibility of Regional Manager which included four north and northwest newspapers. She was nominated by News Ltd and won a scholarship to attend NSW University AGSM, first completing the General Managers Course as a forerunner to her MBA.

She then moved into senior management and became the Groups Sales & Marketing Director responsible for 28 newspapers per week (and launching their Websites), a $150M budget and 350 staff.

After six years, she moved into her own media consultancy where she took on business and marketing jobs for various companies, before Federal Publishing Courier Group appointing her their Publishing Director for the next six years.

After many regular visits to beautiful Bowral, Jennifer has become a resident and she is looking forward to her new life and new career in conferencing and promotions with Peppers.

Her conferencing partner, Jan, began in media sales and climbed to NSW Sales Manager and National Advertising Manager for over 100 News Limited newspapers.

She then worked in the magazine industry for 16 successful years, which included National Advertising Manager for several publications including Vogue Entertainment & Travel, Vogue Living, and Gardens & Outdoor Living.

Jan then started her own media consultancy business and consulted on many national magazines, and in 2004 relocated to Bowral and was instrumental in the launch of the successful Supper Club as well as many other events at Centennial Vineyards Restaurant over the previous 20 months.

Jan is keen to lend her long-time industry experience and creative flair to assist conferencing and event clients make the most of every minute spent taking care of business in the Southern Highlands.
