THE ULTIMATE QUEENSLAND SEAFOOD EXPERIENCE TO BE SERVED AT PEPPERS
The ultimate Queensland seafood experience will be served by a team of celebrity chefs at Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas on Saturday 20 May as part of the Noosa Food and Wine Festival.
MasterChef 2016 winner Elena Duggan will be joined by Brisbane-based celebrity chefs Ben O’Donoghue from Billykart and Jake Nicolson from Blackbird Bar and Grill as well as Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas Head Chef Andy Wilcox from View Restaurant to prepare a special dinner featuring the freshest Queensland seafood and local produce.
Tickets for the four-course feast, which include a wine selection, are $140 per person and can be purchased online at www.noosafoodandwine.com.au.
Jake Nicolson will present the first course of yellowfin tuna tartare, crushed Jerusalem artichokes, green tomatoes and sunflower seed dukka.
Hervey Bay scallops are the star of the second course, prepared by Andy Wilcox. They will be served with Rhodavale pork belly and pineapple.
Ben O’Donohue is preparing the third course of miso-blackened local cobia, cucumber grilled and gel, with nori tapioca crisp.
Dessert is the creation of Elena Duggan and features Sunshine Coast figs with chocolate, wattle seed and macadamia.
