Mantra Group wraps up the year with gifts for Red Cross
Mantra Group has ‘wrapped up’ their year in the true spirit of Christmas by donating more than 1300 gifts for 1300 kids.
This year the Group broke their record set from last year and donated more than 1300 gifts across the country to support children in a number of Red Cross programs including migration support, young parents, homestay and family support.
Group General Manager Human Resources, Cherie McGill said that every year they’re overwhelmed with the generosity of their employees:
“Our team members love the opportunity to give something back and really enjoy the experience of choosing a gift for a child in need.”
Mantra Group has been a national humanity partner with Australian Red Cross for over five years and supports their Good Start Breakfast Club, an initiative in schools which provides nutritious breakfast and nutritional education for children in greatest need across Australia.
Mantra Group CEO Bob East is a passionate supporter of the program and recently visited a Club in Brisbane to volunteer and serve breakfast to the children:
“As a teacher in a previous life, I recognise the importance of ensuring kids have a nutritious breakfast to start the day”.
“I’m thrilled to have been able to make such a difference over the five years with Red Cross.”
