It's nearly Tulip Time again in the Southern Highlands, which means magical displays of over 100,000 tulips and 25,000 annuals in bloom to transform Bowral's Corbett Gardens and other local parks into an amazing spectacle of sweeping spring colour.
From September 21 to October 4 this year, the 14-day Tulip Time festival has been delighting locals and visitors for the past 50 years.
To mark such a special anniversary of half a century, two majestic and historic Peppers retreats which pride themselves on the beauty of their own expansive garden estates, are offering the perfect packages for guests to make the most of their stay during the festival.
Take in the variety-laden program of events, including specialist shows on the weekends, some of Australia 's best and most beautiful private gardens opened to the public, and enjoy talks by the owners or head gardeners, all from the ideal accommodation base of Peppers Craigieburn at Bowral, or Peppers Manor House, just 15 minutes away at Sutton Forest.
Both retreats offer stylish accommodation in grand country guest houses that have been refurbished to feature the ultimate in modern comforts and facilities aimed at making your stay relaxing, indulgent and unforgettable.
