NEW GM: Peppers Blue on Blue Resort and the Tropical North Queensland Peppers team has welcomed new General Manager Allan Benfield to the island. Allan was formerly with Peppers The Sands Resort in Torquay, Victoria, where he successfully managed all operational areas within the resort over the past two years. ALL FOR A PINK CAUSE: The last Friday in November saw the best of the best turn out at Peppers Pier Resort, Hervey Bay to raise awareness and funds for the Glen McGrath Foundation, a leading provider of dedicated nurses and support for women diagnosed with breast cancer. A stellar line-up including football stars Wendell Sailor, Darren Lockyer, local Mayor Mick Kruger, parliamentary members and business leaders raised over $60,000. The Peppers conference room was provided free of charge and decorated in pink, playing host to a charity auction, guest speakers, talks from local breast care nurses and many other fundraising activities. Signed footballs and jerseys were also on offer and snapped up by supporters, all in aid of a great cause.
