Welcome to 2015 and to the year's first edition of ADVANCE. For the development team at Mantra Group, 2014 was certainly a productive year, marked by numerous highlights and a record 10 new hotel openings, which added almost 1,000 rooms to our expanding portfolio.

Mantra and BreakFree Bell City1
 
 
 
Mantra Group has opened its largest hotel yet, the 844-room Bell City in Preston, Melbourne. The dual hotel towers, which form part of the mixed-used development recently purchased by Elanor Investors Group, has opened as Mantra Bell City and BreakFree Bell City.

Mantra Group celebrates 50 QLD hotels
 
 
 
The opening of Mantra Midtown Apartments in Brisbane last October marked Mantra Group's 50th hotel in Queensland, firmly establishing the Group as the largest accommodation provider in the State, with over 8,000 rooms across its Peppers, Mantra and BreakFree brands.

Richmont Hotel by Mantra
 
 
 
The Lord Mayor of Brisbane, Cr Graham Quirk, has officially launched Richmont Hotel by Mantra. A joint initiative by Mantra Group and Brisbane Marketing, the event served to publicly announce Richmont Holdings' plans to develop a 110-room, 4 star hotel in Spring Hill.

The continuing renaissance of Christchurch is set for further rejuvenation with Mantra Group announcing it will manage the revived development of the former Hotel SO when it reopens in April 2015 as BreakFree on Cashel, Christchurch.
