Corporate Social Responsibility

Mantra Group has a strong focus on minimising our impact on the environment and giving back to the local communities in which we operate. Through the delivery of a number of engagement programs and partnerships, Mantra Group is continuously working to improve the level of social and ethical responsibility held in our community, environment, marketplace and workplace.

Community Sponsorships

All community sponsorship requests are reviewed by Mantra Group's Corporate Social Responsibility department against set criteria determined by our Team Members. Applicants are requested to self-assess eligibility before submitting their request using Mantra Group's Community Sponsorship Request form.

Give Blood

Mantra Group's corporate blood donors are affectionately known as Mantra Group Lifesavers. Our lifesavers give the gift of life to people in our community by rolling up their sleeves every three months. 21,000 donations are needed each week to help cancer patients, people with leukaemia, heart disease, accident and trauma victims, pregnant women and newborns.

Volunteer Leave

All Full Time and Part Time Team Members who have passed their probation period receive one day of Volunteer Leave each year. Volunteer Leave provides Team Members with a vehicle to give back to their community and support an organisation they're passionate about.

Community Giving

Christmas Giving

Mantra Group's annual Christmas Giving appeal aims to provide disadvantaged people in our local communities with food during the festive season. Mantra Group Team Members continue to exceed each preceding year with oodles of food items and supermarket vouchers being distributed to those who need it most.

Winter Warming Appeal

During the colder months, organisations experience heightened pressure to provide rough sleepers and struggling families with winter essentials. Each year Mantra Group Team Members put their knitting skills to the test and clear their closets of unwanted clothing and blankets to help warm the lives of people in need.

Our Footprint

Our level of environmental sustainability is one of Mantra Group's core values. We have an obligation and a responsibility to ensure we minimise the impact we have on our surroundings and practice proper management of energy, waste, water and biodiversity. Our aim is to become a more sustainable accommodation provider.

Mantra Group's Sustainability Committee

Made up of operational and corporate Team Members, the role of the sustainability committee is to help shape Mantra Group's CSR program and be a key communication channel for Team Members (feeding in and out). The committee assists with introducing and maintaining CSR initiatives and the tracking, measuring and reporting of our group impact.
